hello, there !

met up with a very sedated, sleepy and jet-lagged boy today to watch shooter.

it was nice and comfyyy. like always.

i baked cookies and painted a mug too. the cookies that synyi and i baked turned out to be more than edible ! they were...divine. haha okay, maybe not divine, but her brother said they tasted like subway cookies. so they have to be pretty good. :)

(we used a premix though)

oh and shooter is a nice show ! alot of, er, shooting scenes. haha. but quite entertaining and i want to be a dead accurate shooter toooo.

hmm, my results so far aint too shabby. although the good work this sem got undone by last sem's. but it's okay. i am contented. :)

and it's not a particularly nice feeling when everybody's out having fun while i'm stuck at finance classes half the time. ohwell. at least i kind of like finance ! quite mathematical. good. plus my prof seems nice.

and guess who is coming back this sunday ! ;)

so i had the last of my filming course yesterday. and our film was one of the better ones ! but honestly, i dont think i contributed much. the editing was superb. and it was done by a pro, not us.

then because of the course i couldnt meet the girls at sentosa. but i met them for supper later. after a hearty meal of zi char at pasir panjang with the family and the sister's boyfriend. i like zi char. and the one at pasir panjang is pretty good.

then supper of course. i was driven to elena's house and then she drove us to serangoon gardens. i like chompchomp and its chicken wings, stingray, orh-lua and the giant mugs of sugarcane juice.

school starts tomorrow for me. boo. :(

my filming course is finally ending ! tomorrow's the last session. and honestly, i dont quite like filming all that much. it's really quite cumbersome. and editing is a nightmare. today we had the pro to do it for us. but come july, when we have 14days worth of footage, i will just faint and die. i dont like handling equipment too, much less editing. so i usually help by holding the lights or miking people up. filming is not for me. i think i was mostly silent throughout the course, except for the parts where i had to act. hurhur.

but otherwise, the cip trip seems rather exciting. and we'll be organising most of it, in fact, all of it. hopefully i'll do fund raising or smt ! i am quite unfortunately, in the documentation group because i went for the filming course. :(

oh i borrowed books ffrom the library today ! it's been quite long since i read. so i got some magaret atwood. and i cant meet the girls at sentosa tomorrow because of my stupid filming course. tragic. my summer term starts next week too. even more tragic. :(

i'm back from the chalet. and i am exhausted. i stayed over for only a night because i have a filming course to attend. and i sharpened by mahjong skills more ! i can play with tai now. and i must say, i won more than a few times last night. so we played till about 3am, and i decided i should turn in because i had school the next day. but like any sleepovers, i couldnt sleep. so i really should have just joined the others at changi village.

so all in all, i slept for about 2hours. i know alot of people can survive with 2hours of sleep but i cant. i was sitting through the filming course today in a daze. the filming course was rather interesting though. i cant really handle sophisticated equipment. our video camera is considered a baby, but i'd rather not handle it. so i think i'm going to end up acting or interviewing. the woman who taught us produces really cool documentaries and speaks really well. she had her cameraman here today to teach us video techniques too. some caucasian dude. but i was really too tired to be remotely enthusiastic in the course today.

oh, and of course, it was ben & jerry's free cone day today. :)

i've been spending waay too much. so i'm going to stay home this weekend. because staying home=not spending=rest.

oh, and today i bought a dress which i thought was unique, distinct and.. bold. but everybody thought it was the ugliest thing they've seen. and when i stepped out of the dressing room, they all had the same retarded expression. haha. but i still bought it anyway. i like it and that's what matters. :)

and phantom was great. i was just sitting there with my mouth agaped, marvelling at the sets. the sets are breathtaking. phantom even appears suspended in the middle of the hall. and the chandelier actually almost-drops on the audience. now i can understand why the tickets are ridiculously expensive. but worth it, i say. watch it if u can !

okay. i shall really not spend on anymore clothes. really.

i think i made alot of mcq mistakes for stats today because i didnt bother to read up on the theories. :( :(

but it's okay, i am done. i am done with exams!!

oh and i'm going to fugong for cip in july. fugong is in yunnan, which is in china. i'm going for a filming course next week so we can shoot a documentary over there. i'm looking at the schedule for the course, and it seems difficult. i have to think of a 2min film idea, and i'm not very sure what i should do. oh and summer term starts pretty soon too i think. and haynes is coming back reaaaallyy soon !

so today, i shopped with mindy after our stats, because the other poor souls end on friday. it's been so long since i shopped at town proper, there were so many changes. bought a pair of shoes! but i shall buy no more. because i ordered one too many things online while i was being bored and stressed over the week.

am watching phantom tomorrow ! and possibly a movie.

sigh, i foresee myself being really poor over the holidays.

twc is truly a nightmare.

monday is going to be horrific day. and because my exams end at 7, i wont have much time to study for AS which starts bright & early the next day at 9am. well, unless i forego alot of sleep. but that's not my style.

i have my examinations in a few days. and did i mention. i am royally screwed for twc. i tried doing research and everything. but i still dont know what hyflux's new core competencies are, or its new product development strategy. oh and i'm supposed to write an essay about disruptive innovation too, when my understanding of it is just 2 lines of the definition. twc suckss. hopefully my group will help me this saturday.

oh yes. i have 16 chapters of econs to read through. and game theory's still hazeyyy.

sigh, i should stop being such a baby and get to work. :(

twc's over ! i like my twc group, because we produce pretty decent work for our terrible last-minuteness. and i get very amused when mud gets verbally abused by the guys. sometimes i get railed at, but not as much. haha. then we proceeded to stayover at elena's house after a very satisfying jap buffet. most of the pictures are in elena's camera. we didnt do much, because mindy & jiayan fell asleep so early.

then i just remember feeling very exhausted the next day.

and so, my study break is here. except i wouldnt really consider a break since i have lots to do. there's still CT. i think CT is a waste of time. i like my ct group and all and i wouldnt mind spending time with them, but the whole module is quite stupid. oh, and my ct group is planning a chalet once our exams end, so that'll be fun i think.

many plans once the exams are over ! i got quite excited talking to synyi last night about our post-exam activities. :):)

and... i havent watched prison break in a really long time ! i want episode 20, 21 and 22..

i have strawberries & gummies for company !
