waikiki

hmm waikiki was quite fun ! because we were the only all-girls team, at pushball and all the games for that matter, we were so going to lose all of our games. but nvm ! the first team that met us was quite nice, because the big big guys let us push first. we never scored a single time because it just takes one big guy to lift the ball and throw it over us. hahaha.

the second game was really very violent ! fat guys didnt give us a chance to push first. i remember running forward for the first push and rebounding off the ball onto the sand in shock. haha. but it was good fun because ven the referee was on our side and people were cheering for us. :)

and we made it to the quarters despite not scoring and losing every single game. because the other teams didnt appear. then it started pouring so the sand got stuck to the ball ! so gross. we all got very good and painful exfoliation in the third game.

so waikiki was pretty fun in the end !

noww. my holidays have ended. and my eyes hurt. it feels like there's an eyelash in my eye. but i cant find it. i feel like digging my eyes out. ):

i met up with my laos group at minds yday. and i think we were seriously retarded. i think we were the noisiest people around. screaming over halliwalli (i think that's the name of the game) and taboo. and darryl's description of implants. i was so tired from laughing and screaming i stumbled out of minds feeling rather dazed. then we continued playing cards at ps but by then we were quite stoned. these kinda games seriously sap you of whatever energy you have. but, i like. :) everybody should just meet up at these kinda places and die laughing together.

then i came home to the sobering fact that i have too much work that needs to be done in too little days. i have cny at hw's house tomorrow and waikiki the day after. so i have to finish everything by today and sunday ! i've spent the entire afternoon on AS but i am still not finished with it. and i still have bgs group meeting tmr morning which i have not researched for.

ohwelll. but dinner awaits. and i shall continue after dinner !

okay so chinese new year is here. i only like the first day of cny. i visit the relatives whom i'm slightly closer to, and there's a general feeling of excitement of dressing up and the whole chingchong mood. although i was still really bored at my grandmother's house. bored till my sister drove us to catch a movie at century square. norbit ! norbit is quite gross. it was quite funny, but nothing compares to white chicks. oh my 2 year cousin malcom is really quite cute ! and he seems to have a thing for climbing all over me. which is quite nice, until he starts drooling from his own giggling. should have taken a picture of him ! but i was too occupied by him.

and of course, we had a great feast for dinner. sometimes the food and the angpows make up for visiting.

day 2 was blahh. visited my sister's nanny and that was it. my mom wanted to eat at crystal jade but it wasnt opened. so we had to settle for malay/indian food at the coffeeshop at holland v. and then i went home to face my pile of work. ):

i still have visiting to do tomorrow.... ): relatives of my dad's side. i'm not even close to them and i hate small talk. urghhh. my sister is good with that so people generally talk to her more. i'm like the surly younger sister. most of the time i hope she would go visiting with me so people wont really talk to me. haha.

i am almost done with bgs essay ! and i'm starting on AS. i'm on a roll....

i made 2 very stupid mcq mistakes for my midterm !!! i know i know it sounds very little. but my prof makes stats rather easy so practically the whole world gets full or close to full marks. so 2 mcq mistakes are quite alot. ): plehhhhhhh. Those are two very crappy theoretical mcqs. and very complacent me printed my notes but didnt bother to finish reading them. i am utterly depressed.

on a brighter note, my break is here ! although there are really quite alot of projects to do over the break, and econs to study for. econs is hard. i feel like a genius understanding all his very mathematical and graphical explanations , but i cant really apply what i learn. which is what u're supposed to do in a test.

oh and chinese new year is here ! not like i feel particularly festive this year. every year you just get less excited about it. i do look forward to receiving some much-needed cash though. and my tuition paycheck tomorrow ! hopefully they remember to pay me.

i like justin timberlake and robyn troupe's performance at the grammys !!! at first i was like, eh who is this woman. so i went to google, and found out she won a contest to sing with justin for the grammys. she's not bad, although i thought she looked a little funny moving around the stage. i like all of justin timberlake's performances. i wish he would hold a concert here.

my sister finally ordered her car ! a red suzuki swift. not the coupen after all.. ohwell quite exciting. although she'll never let me drive her car when i pass. anyway, i spent vday in a gsr with leesynyi, and a while with elena and hw. our initial plan was to pluck petals and mourn about the sad state of our affairs. but flowers were expensive. and quite wasteful, especially if u're going to pluck everything out. hahaha.

and guess what, i might just be playing soccer for waikiki. waikiki is going be a watch-clarateo-humiliate-herself-at-all-sorts-of-ballgames event. i just hope it's fun though, and i really need a tan.

so yesterday we pulled a surprise on synyi ! it was quite neat because she didnt suspect anything. well until my face popped out from the table because iwas trying to light the stupid cake. we drew inspiration for her present from michelle's present to me in sec3. a huge dustbin with lots of food inside. and our birthday card came in the form of 10 cuecards. filled with our complaints. stupid girl ruined her own surprise many times..

then after that hw, elena, synyi and i shopped, but i had to leave for michelle's house. lynn's leaving for melbourne next week ! met up with saraloww, jing, lynn and michelle. talked and amused ourselves with stories about our fellow ex-classmates over alot alot of food.

so friday was quite a nice day indeed. and did i mention. i'm taking part in handball for waikiki. so embarrasing. confirm lose. :( and pushball too, but at least i dont think i will terribly embarrasing for that. no flying balls what.

i found season5&6 of sex and the city lying around ! i never knew i had them. so yayyy. i'm very pleased indeed. and guess what dr bailey appeared for 2 seconds in the first episode of season 5 as a policewoman. and being very dr bailey indeed.

i have nothing much to say these days. school keeps me sane, no matter how much i whine about my classes. there are my friends in school. i've made new friends this term, and hung out more with old ones. i play taboo occasionally, which lightens me quite abit. i dont have annoying project groupmates. i cant say i like school, but i definitely dont hate it as much as last term.

meanwhile, just some frustration, resignation and some.. hope.

i had a horrible ride home on the train. there was a group of foreign workers that came in. and one of them kept leaning on the pole !! my pet peeve. especially if the train is damn crowded. then the guy is quite skinny so his back kept poking me ! and it's not like he didnt have space at the other side. and i was in heels because of my presentation and i couldnt hold on to anything. but when he stopped leaning for a second, i grabbed the pole. he can lean on my quite sharp knuckles if he wants to. pffpht.

then the person sitting in front of me got up. and since it was late, i was tired, and holding my laptop plus textbook and huge school bag, i obviously wanted to sit down. so i was going to sit down when the other guy just took my seat !! to sit beside his friend. he wasnt even holding anything loh. he's not old or anything, and he looks as fit as a bull. and which guy snatches a seat from a girl ??

i'm quite glad my individual presentation is over. it was alright i guess. and that annoying year 2 boy had to add his stupid, snarky comments and questions again. i did try to argue my stand for a while, but after it ended i realized i could have said alot more like what i had written in my report. but my nerves got the better of me again. pity, i could have had wiped off that stupid smirk off his face. ohwell. blame ineloquent me. especially in front of class. ):

oh andi heard about the singapore v thailand footbal final match. i didnt watch it. but the thai footballers have no sportsmanship whatsoever ! i'll be terribly ashamed of my country if its football team walks out of a match, whether the penalty was warranted or not. my friend likes some alam shah. she is damn mortifying. hahaha.

and i have to wake up early tomorrow for driving. ):
