runaway train

school's been okay so far. i made new friends. i am pathetic, i know. haha. i hung out with other people today. i'm quite glad that i have a bunch of people that i know in my classes. although i dont quite know them very well yet.

i watched night at the museum, with elena, mindy, jiayan and matilda today. these are the people in my classes. the show is really dumb, but highly entertaining. the hans were funny. and the little roman warriers and cowboys too. hoho. i want to watch borat actually, but it's r21 i think.

oh yes, i had my first lesson on technoloy&world change. i honestly think that it's quite interesting, partly because i dont know anything about it. but my prof is insane. i have two projects for this module . two !?! 2 papers to submit. a mini assignment every week, due 3 days after class. i must also read and comment other people's assignments for class participation. and an individual presentation on any emerging technology. and of course, an exam. my prof is seriously mad. i also know next to nothing about technology.

and i nearly lost my handphone today !!! i left it at the table at kopitiam. thank goodness the cleaners passed it to the office. and my handphone was safe. i am quite lucky. i remember leaving my wallet at KFC last time but the staff kept it with them. although it wouldnt have been a complete tragedy if i lost it because my handphone is dying. and i can only change it when the contract ends, in august.

i think i should read my old unread copies of newsweek to brush up on my non-existent knowledge on technology and world news.
